The Pokemon series is known for many spinoffs, from multiple fighting franchises, to safari adventures taking pictures of Pokemon in the wild, to Mystery Dungeon that asks players to recruit Pokemon to a rescue team in a faster-paced RPG than the mainline series.

The new game comes with fresh features and gameplay than the original Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team, including the Pokemon having the ability to Mega Evolve for a period of time for battles. This is something that many of the Pokemon games have done recently, although Pokemon Sword and Sheild instead used Gigantamax.
How to Mega Evolve in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX
Before players can Mega Evolve they must find Empowerment Seeds. Thus far, it seems the community hasn’t found any Empowerment Seeds until after they’ve beaten the game, so step one in being able to Mega Evolve is beating the main story of Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. When playing through the story, it may help to increase the bag size as well to stock up on as many items as possible.
Once the main story is completed, Empowerment Seeds are earned from completing various missions, just like Blast Seeds and Reviver Seeds for example. Empowerment Seeds can then be fed to Pokemon to Awaken them. Any Pokemon can be awakened, and when in this status, the Pokemon’s stats will increase, moves will cause critical hits, and the Pokemon will no longer be at a disadvantage in terms of types (for example, if a Fire Pokemon is going up against Water Pokemon if, in the Awaken status, they will not be as a disadvantage).
The List of Pokemon that can Mega Evolve
Although all Pokemon can eat the Empowerment Seed and be Awakened, not all Pokemon can be Mega Evolved. In fact, some evolved Pokemon in Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX can Mega Evolve and the non-evolved Pokemon cannot.
